Umairah served as the festival programmer for LASALLE College of The Arts' annual Rock and Indie Festival in 2024, where she successfully curated a lineup of 18 artists, attracting approximately 1,700 attendees over two days.

 

In her role of Social Media Marketing, Umairah leveraged her experience to create captivating social media content and supported PR and communications for event launches and activations. 

 

Prior to Arts Management, Umairah gained hands-on experience as assistant director/co-producer for Sometimes You Go Places, which received official selection at the Beijing International Short Film Festival and a nomination at the 9th National Youth Film Awards.

 

Her expertise lies in event management and content editing, and she is driven to continue producing meaningful, impactful content in the industry.
